Facial Rejuvenation

Facial rejuvenation can be accomplished with collagen PIN (percutaneous induction needling), a procedure that involves the creation of microscopic injuries to the skin that triggers a natural healing process with the production of collagen and elastin, proteins that repair and smoothe the skin. This therapy may be enhanced by the topical application of platelet rich plasma.

For the procedure, your doctor will use a small hand instrument with multiple fine needles, approximately 15-25. The skin of your face is first numbed with a topical anesthetic and the instrument is then glided over the skin creating the micro-punctures. The length of the needles is adjusted according to the area being treated. Following this, PRP is applied topically and penetrates the deep layers of skin.

The effects of treatment become apparent in abut 2-4 weeks. For optimal results, you will require 3-6 treatments each 4-6 weeks’ apart.
